The Chair Collection Poster
Description
The Chair Collection poster features 224 selected pieces from the Vitra Design Museum’s extensive collection of over 7,000 original designs. This large, inspirational poster highlights the significance of chairs in design history and was updated in September 2018 to reflect the latest research.
The objects are arranged chronologically, starting with Jean-Joseph Chapuis’s Chaise de Garde from 1802 and concluding with Joris Laarman’s design from 2014, with each piece credited to its original manufacturer.
